Meet The Team

Meet Sanya Somani, a senior at Phoenix Country Day School. Sanya is interested in studying business and plans to start an edtech company in the future. Passionate about social entrepreneurship, she has spent the past three summers studying venture creation and leadership. Sanya is currently conducting an independent study to analyze purpose-driven innovation and to research AI governance. Outside of HealthForHER, Sanya is a captain of the PCDS Speech & Debate team and the PCDS Varsity Women's Soccer team. She has spent 14 years training to be a Kathak dancer, Hindustani Classical singer, and pianist. Sanya is committed to continuing her efforts to empower women around the world.

Meet Anaiya Patel, a senior at Phoenix Country Day School. She is a dedicated researcher in anthropology and the social sciences. Anaiya has authored researched papers on both healthcare and societies views of technology. A committed community organizer and passionate about introducing children to indigenous literature, Anaiya is also the founder of R.C. Squared which connects refugee children with the narratives and authors of their homelands, and builds indigenous literature libraries around the world in such places as; Kenya, New Zealand, the U.S. As Photography Editor of  PCDS's yearbook, Anaiya will be publishing a coffee table book of her international photographs in 2024.
